Pushkar is pilgrimage site for Hindus, known as the only worship place dedicated to Brahma, the creator as per Hindu mythology. Pushkar is located on the shore of Pushkar Lake, considered sacred and is the main place for the spiritual annual celebrations and bath on the full moon night ( Kartik Purnima) during the month of oct/nov. The occasion also brings the biggest animal trade – Pushkar Fair, lasting for nearly a week.
