Jamnagar - is dotted with heritage monuments but what stands out is the Lakhota Fort. The seat of the erstwhile Jamnagar rulers, it is surrounded by the beautiful Ranmal Lake. City is also known for its Red Bandhani traditional clothes. Dyeing process of Bandhani is carried out extensively in this city, as the water of this area is known to give a particular brightness to colors, specifically reds and maroons.
